THE CHALLENGE
Dyke and dean had an extensive catalog with multiple collections, presenting it a challenge to show their products without overcrowding the homepage and remaining pages.
In addition, they were limited to the capabilities of the template features, not allowing them to convey their premium brand on their pages.
THE JOURNEY
We started with a full UX Growth audit, highlighting the main opportunities and challenges.
Following the audit, we redesigned the website for usability and conversion. The homepage was re-arranged to display multiple collections easily and show their work without overcrowding the customer with too many options.
The collection page took a revamp with filters, allowing users to dive through the entire catalog without jumping between pages.
As upsell strategy, we implemented upsells in the side cart and in the product page below the add to cart button. This approach is a smooth way to increase the overall product discoverability but also support an increase in the average order value.
All the features and sections implemented were implemented in Shopify custom sections, so the internal team can easily manage the content (e.g., products, text, images, etc..) without the need of a developer.
I was looking for a friendly approachable and knowledgeable team who would already have the expertise and insight into “apps, code, systems etc” that would take me too much time to research, integrate and deliver on my own ( while still managing my team and day to day ). I wanted help with all the work I knew needed doing, with advice and some insights along the way. This was delivered and some.
All changes that have currently been implemented have had a significant impact and I am seeing results straight away ( after 3 weeks )
